- 01On the head's midline at the vertex, 2 cun behind the anterior hairline. Note: take the midpoint between DU-20 Baihui and the anterior hairline, then move 0.5 cun forward from it — or equivalently, find the point 1 cun behind DU-23 Shangxing.
- 023 cun in front of DU-20 Baihui.
- 03On the midline, 2 cun behind the anterior hairline's midpoint and 3 cun in front of DU-20 Baihui.

- 02Caution: do not needle this point in infants with an unclosed fontanelle.
